Online Shop In Review - SheIn
Hi everyone!!
Welcome back! If you're anything like me then you'll forever be scrolling through the internet seeing adverts pop up about online shops that seem to have really good clothes but you can't help wondering what the actual delivery and service of the website is like. Well, twice now I have ordered from SheIn website and I thought I would tell you a bit more about the quality, delivery and service of the shop.
So firstly, the most exciting part is what I actually bought. I bought a body con cami white dress with black dots and spaghetti straps I think they're called?? i also bought a vertical multi-coloured swimming costume with an open back. I then bought a black bralette which is quite in at the moment as I'm sure you know. You can see all what they actually look like here. So, the overall quality of the clothes were actually really good for the price, the stitching and lining was quite good. The dress is slightly see through but that's okay because it can easily be solved and the bralette had slight loose hems but I could just cut them off and that's common with cheaper clothes that you might buy from Primark etc. (Links at the bottom of the post).
The fit of the clothes was quite accurate and fit me well, the costume is slightly too big round my back but it's an open back so it's not a massive deal.
However, before buying the clothes make sure you do some research behind what they're like, I've checked reviews from other people just to see their opinion on the fit and quality, i think it's just better to do this then to make perhaps buy a similar item of clothing which isn't at all very good, as I'm sure some of the clothes may not be so good. Saying this though, i would recommend the clothes I have purchased.
Now on to delivery and shipping. I think many people are very skeptical when it comes to this because of many different experiences but my experience has been quite good. I have only paid for standard shipping because it wasn't that expensive, I think about £3 but there are many times when free shipping is offered so I always try to buy during those times. This leads to the delivery which doesn't take that long, I think it's taken on average about a week which isn't too bad, especially when I'm not paying for it because I'm taking advantage of the offers. The average shipping time is 7-10 days which is accurate, as my orders have never exceeded this length. They also give you a shipping number so you can track your order which I love because the daily updates are so useful and are something to look forward to.
Overall, I really like the clothes I have ordered from SheIn, they're off good quality, quick shipping and there is usually some great offers on. If you want some good clothes at a good price and quality, check out SheIn.

My Summer To Be Read
Hi everyone!!
Welcome to The Gem - my blog! I hope you are all enjoying the sun and having a good weekend. It's my first post and I'm showing you my summer to be read. I love reading, but it's so hard to pursue when I'm constantly doing school work and having to read books for school. However, now it's finally summer which means i have less work to do so I can finally relax and blog.
I ordered all these books on Amazon about a week ago and they came so quickly! Anyway, here are the books I'm reading this summer:
Beautiful Broken Things - Sara Barnard
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
All The Bright Places - Jennifer Niven
The Last Piece Of My Heart - Paige Toon
The Couple Next Door - Shari Lepana
The Hate U Give - Angie Thomas
To All The Boys I've Loved Before - Jenny Han
Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
As you can see, I've gone for quite a mix of classics, typical summer cliches and a thriller. I'm really looking forward to reading these 8 books and I'll try and keep you updated with my progress. Currently, I'm 80 pages off finishing Beautiful Broken Things so I'll give you a review of that sometime soon.
